Re: Website problems
The old logs get cleared on a regular basis. Otherwise we end up with thousands of them. If there is a particular one that you are interested in, I can probably pull it out from the site backups.

Re: Accesing the site.
I have a new problem. When I access the main site, the upper bar with name, password, access to flights does not show up. Did anyone had this proble or any ideas how to solve it. This is making me crazy. Thanks in advance. I am unable to reproduce using IE 11 and Chrome 41 on PC or Safari 8.0.3 on ...

Re: unable to log onto server
Thank you for the additional information. It turns out to be a permission issue on those pages. I have corrected the permission and the Polar pages should now work correctly. Since this topic no longer is about only login issues but the website in general I have locked it and created a new one where...

Website problems
The website was updated on November 1 with lots of back-end code to ensure smoother database handling and authentication. We also removed region assignments - all pilots are now in the same "regional" group. As can be seen on the other topics on the forum, there are some issues cropping up that I am...

Re: unable to log onto server
Tomas, looks good, everything was accepted by GCP, all the information (flights, aircraft, etc) is correctly loaded. Are you by any chance fixing some issues in the Polar open board flights? I can't seem to access that menu--everything else is fine! Jay P Yeah! One bug fixed!! Nope, not doing anyth...

Re: unable to log onto server
OK, I believe I have tracked down the GCP issue. Give it a try and post the results.

Re: unable to log onto server
Press validate, information box pops up saying that validation was not successful, pilot number and/or password is incorrect. Yep, I get the same behaviour on my end. I need to verify with Justin which script he is using on the server side to do the validation. In a holding pattern until he gets ba...

Re: unable to log onto server
OK, two separate issues here. GCP login is not working right now. Justin knows about this and I just need to know which script is being called so that I can confirm what broke. I implemented a brand new backend database access protocol and tested everything ... except GCP I guess! I also made some c...

Re: unable to log onto server
I have uploaded massive changes to the server this afternoon that I was hoping would be more or less transparent. Guess not... I cannot reproduce the login issue. Do the following: Go to the Home page Log Out Clear cookies in your browser (all or just for GCVA if you know how) Log back in I will mon...

Re: Rookie!
Ronald, I did find your pilot account. Please use your full name on the forums to save me the trouble of doing a search... I confirmed that no flights are showing - I would recommend that you refrain from any further flights until your resolve your PIREP issues. A simple search on these forums would...

Re: Rookie!
I don't see you on the roster so I can't verify that your PIREP went through OK. What is your pilot number?

Re: Bid process timings error
That code is really old (really, really old!) and it would take me a bit of effort to sort out why the times are different. A quick check confirmed that the server has correct time so that is not it. One thing to keep in mind is that the page doesn't update on its own so maybe a refresh will resolve...

Re: Unable to select open board flight????
Hmmm... I didn't even think we had a check for region anywhere in the system. Must be old code. I will remove it since the intent of region assignments is for administrative purposes only and should not affect where you can fly! [TH: Edit] Region check has been removed and everyone can fly anything ...

Re: Arrival Times and the PMDG 747
The Polar schedules are the real-world equivalent and should be fairly accurate. The charter times on the other hand are pure estimates based on magical numbers such as climb, speed etc. Maybe if you gave us a few examples of flights that are off, we could have a look. Also remember that all times p...

Open Board flights don't have any penalty points associated with them. That is only for Charter flights. No rush - just get it done eventually...
