Is the flight deck fan on? Even in real life that thing is way loud.

Re: PMDG 747 for Prepar3d V4
I did a full test flight yesterday. 9+ hours all settings high IAH-HHN with a 5 hour pause and HHN weather was awful with thunderstorms and rain. No issues and GCP worked great.

Re: Upgrading Computer System
Hi Justin, I was thinking of the new water cooling, it's a closed system, no anti-freeze, etc. very easy to install. This one should fit in your case very nice. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181089&cm_re=cooling_system-_-35-181-089-_-Product I have one that is 5 years old...
Re: Overspeed
Likely caused by a change in winds aloft by whatever weather program your using. If youre using an older version of Active Sky this will happen A LOT.

Same here, been that way for some time. I access it by clicking on the Atlas tail, then it comes up. I think its a compatibility issue with earlier versions of IE.

Re: PMDG MD-11, 737 NGX... etc
The VC is pretty clear. Thats all I fly in, and never had an issue with the MD11, or for that matter the 747-400. Its a lot easier to do the FMS functions with the 2D panel on the MD11, but you dont have to. As far as the 747-200 is concerned, its a dying aircraft. Not many flying anymore, and with ...

Re: PMDG MD-11, 737 NGX... etc
Ive only got the MD11. With TrackIR its pretty 3 dimensional in the VC; knobs and buttons are well modelled as is the flight dynamics and systems. Its a very automated aircraft, and definitely something you'll have to immerse yourself in the documentation with. You can't just rush into it.

Re: month changeover?
Hi Tobias,
The month is a rolling 30 days, and modeled after the real FAR/CFRs. FARs state no more than 100 hours in a 672 hour period, which amounts to about 28 days.
