Yeah, there's a topic about this in the flight sim world forums also..... I just hope that those developers can find jobs quickly. It's a shame to see talent like that go to waste and get shoved.

You see the US Army has Choosen X-Plane for there training in some simulators.
Maybe a sign of things to come ???
I heard the Scenery on X-Plane is top notch, but quality airplanes are down as not many developers use it

Does this mean we won't be able to spend oodles of MONEY every 2 months for computer hardware upgrades.

I see it as a positive note.
Now developers can concentrate on their current products and upgrade them with new service packs. With the delay in development of FS11, the developers don't have to worry about it as much.

X-Plane was quick to move
No FS staff are left at microsoft, they have all been sacked.
So no FS11 unless the look to hire a new or different crew
