As most of you know PMDG is making the 747-400. (I am 15 so I am in no way at all affiliated with PMDG) After about 2 weeks I plan to E-mail the people at PMDG and attatch this poll. Thank you for your votes! Ricky Weston PAC 747-200F First Officer #1215 P.S. If you look at this topic even if you don't care .......PLEASE vote!

"to add to my vote for yes Id buy it no matter what... some talented repainter would still slap cargo liveries on it, and I'm sure an F version would come down the road if not released right away."

"Maybe I am not sure about who PMDG is, <!--emo&--><!--endemo--> but I don't think I could be happy flying anything else but the RFP 742? <!--emo&B)--><!--endemo--> I mean I don't even touch my other aircraft, and flying the microsoft version of any heavy jet is a total joke and is similar to putting quarters in some cheap arcade machine now that I am spoiled with RFP. Not to sound harsh or un appreciative of microsoft, but RFP is tops. <!--emo&--><!--endemo--> Well, I just went and looked at the PMDG web site and the interior shots to me don't even get close to RFP. Just my 2 cents worth.... And not to be a party pooper, but is this even an authorized topic for Globe Cargo???? I'm thinking its taking a poll on the competitions aircraft?"

"Hi I am a devoted 742RFP member for over a year now, and continue to love it. They great feeling flying this bird is still alive each time. But I am also excited about the PMDG 747-400 as well, the screenshots are amazing if it will be duplicated on my screen. Lots of hype as to the features and quality of it, so we all have to wait to see if it comes true. I plan to definitely purchase it and provide feedback, but I will also continue to fly the 742. Remember Atlas has some 747-400 models too and I am sure a repaint will come out on them. Thanks <!--emo&:D--><!--endemo-->"

Our 742 is still my favourite, it keeps you busy!! (CiVA ins, fuel monitoring) Those guys in the 744 have a ""wake-up call""now and then to make sure they are still awake!!!!!!!!!! They are more system-managers than pilots it seems!! Take care, Wijnand "
Greetings and happy landings,

Programming well the FMC is not as simple as it may look, BUT, as a pilot, I do feel a bit left out in these new machines and I get the feeling that I am watching a computer playing with another computer... if you see what I mean! I definitely prefer participating a bit more. Wake up calls? no thanks! cheers <!--emo&;)--><!--endemo-->"

Would you still buy PMDG's 747-400 if they didn't include a freight version? 1 Yes, I would still buy it if they didn't include a freight version. 2 No, I would only buy it if they made a freight version. 3 I would still buy it either way. 4 I wouldn't buy it either way. 5 Undecided. "Boomer, when you open a photo and want to give someone a link to it, just under the links for switching size, you've got what you should send or post. The long thing from the browser doesn't work."
