"As you are all aware there are a few videos on the market that are worth watching. Some more than others. I have:
 • Just Planes - Atlas Air 747-400

 • Just Planes - Atlas Air 747-200

 • ITTV - Virgin Atlantic 747-400

 • ITTV - Virgin Atlantic 747-200

 • ITTV - British Midlands Fokker 100

If you don't already have them and are considering parting with a few dollars, the ITTV series is far, far superior. Hands down they are the better choice. If you want details on flying the Classic 742 then this is a great tool. The crew on the Virgin 747 Classic go through almost every gauge in detail including the INS. An excellent teaching tool that is too good to pass up. If you are thinking about ordering the PMDG 744 then the ITTV Virgin 744 DVD is a must have. You can learn a lot about gauges, FMC etc. right from this video. You will not have to read the manual nearly as much after watching the DVD only once. At 1,000 feet they switch the A/P on and respond to ATC by dialing new settings into the A/P. You will learn very little from the Just Planes Atlas videos and I was very disappointed in them."

They show you the takeoff from Heathrow, the checkerboard approach at Hong Kong, but also a very detailed explanation of the 747-400 in the simulator. If you are interested in 747, this one is to be recommended!! "
Greetings and happy landings,
