"Hello all, I have a question regarding Polar's roots. Flying Tigers used to have a tail logo very similar to that of Polar, is this coincidence or is there a historical link between the two? Perhaps someone could write an article for a future edition of our newsletter detailing the history of Polar Air Cargo, I'd be very interested."

"Flying Tigers used to be the military's main contractor years ago, in fact I myself flew several Flying Tiger flights while serving. I found out through the ""real world"" Atlas Air cargo that they have aquired most of the military burden that Flying Tiger's had. This would account for alot of their airports that they fly to being U.S. Logistics bases. Just a note to add to what is already there. Take care all!"
