"Salut Louis, I have been using Active Sky for a while. It is an excellent programme. It does require a little bit of fine tuning with FSUIPC to avoid violent changes of wind etc but no big issue. I use it all the time Bonnes f?tes, Luc "

"I use Active Sky when I don't fly online. You know that IVAO or VATSIM servers have their own meteo servers, and they download to FS the real weather in each moment. Active Sky is a good option to fly off-line. The new version (AS V) is very good, it has a new of new textures of clouds, the sun... At the moment, they are finishing the Active Sky 6. Look at the web for the screenshots. I think it's a good option. Look at the developers web here."

"And I had the exact same problem! My FS ""tilted"" totally when trying to download from jeppesen...Had to kill it from Windows Task Manager. I'll certainly consider active sky 6 when it comes out! Happy landings! Petri"

"Thanks everybody, it confirms what I taught that it is probably a problem with Jeppesen. I think I will most probably buy Active Sky 6 when it comes out. "

Hey Louis. Had the very same problem last night. Thought it was my system giving me a hard time. Glad to know it wasn't just me having the problem .

Yeah! I get so used to fly with real weather that I had trouble flying with a 'fake' one.

I also adjusted the vertical up and down drafts. All this eliminated the sudden engine surges due to wind changes. I am waiting for AS VI ! Bonnes f?tes"
