"If I find what I think are errors in the schedule, to whom do I report them? Examples: 1) I noticed several open board flights from Santiago Chile to Chicago, but the Santiago schedule only lists Miami as a destination. 2) There are 3 PO602 flights. 2 from KORD and the other from KATL. the 1st KORD goes to EGPK, the other to EHAM. The KATL is two legs, first EGPK then EHAM. I also think the repositioning flights should be part of the paid schedule, and flown as ""empties"". The whale handels very differently empty, and could be a challange to some pilots. Otherwise, there are a lot of planes stacking up at a few virtual airports. Example: a lot of places go to Miami, but Miami doesn't go many places. Must be a lot of planes in the back yard. With all the ""new jobs"" is there anyone specifically devoted to the schedule? "

"Dave We are planning an overhaul of the schedule to stay as close as possible to the actual Polar schedule. Tomas is actively working on a couple of exciting projects for Globe Cargo right now, and a revised schedule structure is one of them. Ideally, we would like to update the schedule monthly as is the case with the actual Polar schedule. Repositioning flights are currently under the Atlas charters. If they turn out to be part of the weekly schedules, we might consider putting them there. The current schedule is at least 8-9 months old and I believe the Santiago-Chicago flight stops in Miami and Atlanta first. As for ORD-PIK and ORD-AMS, the real Polar schedules use the same flight numbers on different days of the week as well, with some days including a stop and others not."

"In addition to what Michel already mentioned, there's an issue with open board flights when a schedule is changed. If a flight is deleted from the database it is also deleted from the open board flights and new flights are not added to the open board system. That is until the following month when the system resets itself. That in conjuction with the project we are working on to seperate captain and FO bids is why the schedule won't be updated for a little while yet. There could be errors in the schedule because the real polar schedule is a terrific mess to figure out the legs of a particular flight. On the last update I spent a couple days just figuring out where each flight when to and still had to enter them in our database. Though I think the flights make sense, some errors may exist. Your first question is a good example of this. If I remember right, the flight from Santiago does in fact show the destination to be Miami. Look at the Miami schedule and you will see the flight number and times match up for a continued flight to Chicago (going from memory on that). That sort of thing is all over the place in the real Polar schedule. The public version of Polar's schedule appears to be customer oriented rather than operationally oriented. When we start updating schedules it will fall under the responsibilities of the Director of Flight Ops. Justin"

"The actual Polar schedules can be found <a href=""
http://www.polaraircargo.com/scheduleds ... hedule.asp"" target=""_blank"">here</a>. They are a pain to decipher as some flights include one or more stops without actually stating it. We'll get as close as we can to the real schedule when we update ours."
