"Hi there, does anybody know the content of the current 744F fleet used by ATLAS AIR? The photo database at airliners.net and the aircraft census (of active aircraft) on jetphotos.net gives different results. So what is not clear to me: does ATLAS still uses these aircraft painted in EMIRATES colors: - N408MC - N415MC - N497MC Is it true that N496MC is owed by POLAR AIR but is currently used by ATLAS AIR in a very bad-condition POLAR livery with decal removed? If anybody knows most recent details I would appreciate any information. Thank you."

"Bodo, Send a PM to Craig Applegate. He works for Polar. He's the authority on the Polar/Atlas fleet."

"Atlas still uses those A/C for EMIRATES, currently N415MC is in C check. Its true about N496PA, Polar hopes to have the A/C back in rotation in Oct."

"Craig, How about the 742's? I got a little lost in the shuffle. I thought I understood it that Polar no longer flies the 742's, but Atlas does,or is it the other way around? Or, do neither of them fly the 742 anymore?"

Hi Ted, do you remember my comment not long time ago? I said that we have to fly the PMDG 744 only in future anyways. One reason is that the future of RFP for FS X is unknown and second, the CARGO airlines we simulate won't operate any 742's sometime anymore. So POLAR is already 744F only and ATLAS will follow....."

"Hi Everyone, Would it be possible for someone to produce a new complete fleet list as obviously the one in the pilot manual is now well out of date?"
