"Hey guys, I just watched the ITVV Virgin 744 DVD and I noticed something that I hope one of you can confirm and clarify. When the Captain configures the fuel system for tank to engine, the EICAS fuel page doesn't look quite right. If you look, you'll see that the crossfeed valves are as they should be, 1&4 closed 2&3 open, main tanks 2&3 override/jettison pumps are off BUT main tanks 2&3 boost pumps are not showing on but just active and the fuel flow schematic shows fuel flowing from main tank 3 overrride/jettison pump wich is show as off (white). Those that have this video take a look. Those that don't, get this video! It's absolutely fantastic. Let me know what I'm missing here guys. Thanks, Mark"

"that sounds odd Mark, I dont have that video so I cannot say for sure, but there may be a delay from configuring tank to engine to updateing the eicas in the real plane. Does it show the eicas a few minutes later? I gotta get me some of them videos"

"Hey Mark, Congrats on purchasing the Virgin Atlantic 744 DVD, it's great  I can confirm what you mean! I watched the tank-engine configuration twice over to make sure i wasnt seeing things! Like you said, the Main Tanks for Engines 2&3 are showing active but do not have the green fuel flow line going to the designated engines! The override/jettison pumps are shown as inactive, but are still providing the green fuel line to the engines :? How very strange! However, the Main Tanks for Engines 1&4 are showing as Active and are providing fuel to the designated engines! From your reply Ed, Alan Carter shows us the EICAS Fuel Screen again! He completes Tank/Eng config with 50.1 KGS X1000 as Indicated and he then shows us the screen again with 49.4 KGS X1000 and it is still in the same state, so this should have had plenty long enough to complete the process :?"

I chose PAL simply because my other DVD's are PAL!

If you're in the USA, you need to select NTSC. PAL is the format for Europe."
