Tomas i don't know if anyone else has these problems but over the last couple of days both the GCVA site and forum take a really long time to load and i'm getting frequent disconnects (DNS Pages) all of which require me to refresh my browser constantly..i haven't changed anything on my end it just started acting goofy...ISP related?

"I've had the same problem, on my computer (new and fancy) and my other one (2 years old). Especially with the forum, sometimes it doesn't load properly, and I get a messed up page. Also a problem with live tracking through FSACARS. I was checking my flight status, and my plane did not appear on the Live flying or live ACARS, even though I was connected. Is it both of my computers are screwed up now, or is there a problem?

I've seen this problem a thousand times...your old computer is jealous that your new computer is getting all the attention. Best thing to do in this case is, unfortunately, get rid of your new computer. That should solve all your problems. Oh, and I can take that new computer off your hands for ya
LOL Sorry, couldn't resist. Tomas knows about this problem (as well as the rest of us) and it's not just limited to you. I'm sure Tomas can fill you in more but he said the hosting company tried it and didn't see a problem, therefore there is no "problem"...typical."

"These are intermittent and random time-outs that we have seen in the past. I am talking to the ISP's tech support. Unfortunately, their troubleshooting consists of clicking on a page and if everything works, there is no problem. Last time around we went through this, moving our database to a different server resolved the issue. I have a feeling something similar will need to happen this time around too. I just sent them another email and if that doesn't work, it will be time to pick up the phone and start yealling at them..."

"Well, I was wondering about this too, I was blaming it on my own Internet server, but got suspicious when everything else was working fast. I have been seeing this for about the past week on both sites."

Same! lol But my ISP has been playing me around a bit!
I was talking with Justin about this the other day on MSN and we were both getting issues then, and thought that we were the only ones

Just to add to the statistics...I've noticed the exact same problems. Sometimes even posting on the forum doesn't work the first time through; I have to copy the text and then re-load the posting page and paste the text there again and then re-submit for it to go through...
