Nothing like flying a heavy and making a hard right hand turn short final on the IGS13! This scenery looks awesome and free! Any chance of letting us substitute Chek Lap for Kai Tak

That would have to come from Justin since we as a rule attempt to keep things as real as we can.

I believe Kai Tak is now a shopping mall, so I'd say ... no.

I got to fly in and out of Kai Tak before they closed it. From a passenger point of view, it was a terrible airport. The terminal was way too small and you felt like you were shoulder to shoulder with half a million other passengers. Then we got bussed to the apron and had to board the United 747 through stairs. The checkerboard approach and right turn to rwy 13 was the only good thing (if you had a window seat on the right side).

Before the release of the 9Dragons version of Kai Tak, I have been using a freeware version (which in my opinion is outstanding!) which is available @
http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery8.htm and is the second scenery package down
I done the IGS 13 approach today using the Wilco/Feelthere Airbus Collection Deluxe Edition and it went well
I was off center though, and landed on the right-hand side of the centerline
It is great fun practising this approach
