For anyone in management or perhaps Tomas, who can help, here is the email I'm trying to send to Mike.........

Mike,

For the third month in a row, my bid slot is dead last. There's now 20 people who were promoted after me, bidding ahead of me. Perhaps it's time for Tomas to have a look at it?

Below is text copied from our previous discussion, for your reference.

>>I thought you already adjusted the seniority date last month when I had the same issue. Or are you referring to the database instead of the pilot roster?

I've adjusted seniority date,that should fix it for next month,if not
let me know

Mike

There are two dates your join date and the date you where promoted to captain,I've adjusted the later now,should be good now,if not Tomas may have to look at it.

Basically, what it amounts to, is during the big firing in January, something happened and showed I didn't bid on a flight (even though I did, and received a confirmation email). I didn't respond in a "timely" fashion, because I'm a long haul trucker and was on the road, and subsequently, I was "fired". However, I contacted Mike when I returned home, and had him return me to the roster. But, since that time, every bid cycle, my bid slot is dead last. Now there are 20 pilots bidding before me, who should be bidding after me. Since I have been here a while and accumulated almost 500 hours of flight time, I'd just like to get the bid slot I should have.

I'm tired of eating chitterlings when I should be eating baby backs. Tomas, help!!!

TIA,

Just to update, I just received another subsystem email that was blank. Apparently, it tried to resend with no luck.

It looks like you put in the old email address from before we moved to the new website. The address you want is aa@globecargova.org (that warning message indicates the email was sent to aa@globecargo.org). If you have this address and others in your address book check that all are ...@globecargova.org.

With regards to your seniority, when the system put you back on the roster it reset your seniority. We do have an option to retain your original seniority but that opportunity is only available at the time you are returned to the roster. To change your seniority now, Tomas would have to dig into the db which can be done. However, I'll leave the decision to do that up to Mike.

I have no problem with that Justin...if Tomas can dig up the proper dates i can plug them in,although Ewings admission date i think is properly set at 2006-10-25,there may be another problem here..

Thanks guys. You're right, it was an old entry in my address book, so the problem was an ID-10T error.

Mike had changed the date of hire the first time, then the second time, I believe he changed the date of promotion to captain, but obviously, neither had an effect.

The seniority is an internal field in the database which is not exposed to the front-end. I will try to remember to reset it for you. Since I am at work right now, your best bet would be to send me a reminder email to the address in my sig and I will get it done this evening...
