When Freight loads drop off, thats when u really know the Economies of the world are in trouble

It's the same at work. CP Rail has put 60 SD90's, I believe 20+ SD40's, 100 G.E.'s ? into storage, returned 20 leased CEFX/CITI SD90's, laid off 36 guys locally. We have a meeting later today I hear Union Pacific Railway tied up over 1000 Locomotives.

Not good anywhere.

Ditto for trucking. My miles are about half of what they normally are. I used to run everywhere east of the Rockies. Now, I make a couple of runs between Atlanta and Florida, and that's about it, for the whole week.

Ditto for the Container Ships, they were showing a helluva lot at anchor in the River Fal in Cornwall the other day.
