Did you hear us on the ground departing PIT? We were the only aircraft taxiing for takeoff so I did my before takeoff check and shut down the APU we were using for air conditioning. Just as we pull up to the hold short line and call ready for takeoff TWR decides to tell us then that our release time is another 6 minutes away...that was a warm 6 minutes because the engines don't put out enough bleed air to the packs at idle. I believe the donated atc feed for KPIT is a bit far from the airport. Ground interaction was very sketchy that day. I look forward to trying to catch other flights in the future."
