BA World Cargo

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

BA World Cargo

Post by Covert53 »

"Just curious...I didn't see a NOTAM on this so I could have missed it: I notice the BA World Cargo flights we have under the Polar schedule are practically identical to BAWC cargo schedule on their website: (http://www.baworldcargo.com/schedule/Su ... ul_s07.pdf). (See BA Flight #3578, KIAH to EGSS, on the GCVA Sunday schedule. Same as this: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/BAW3578) Are these the same flight operated by Global Supply Systems or does Atlas still fly 'em? I thought Atlas no longer flew under the BAWC banner. I do know the R/W flights use the "Speedbird" callsign 'cause I hear it on my radio as they fly over enroute to/from EGSS to ATL and IAH and then validated on Flightaware.com Do I assume correctly that we are to use the Atlas livery and not the BAWC livery for these flights along with the "Giant" call sign?"

"These flights are straight from the real-world Atlas schedule and are allocated to Atlas aircraft. In the case of BA3578, it is supposed to be flown by N496MC. You could check pictures on airliners.net but I suspect it is still in Atlas livery. I don't see BA flights on next month's schedule so that may have been a temporary deal. If so, they will be removed them next time I update the schedule."
