Trading?

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

Trading?

Post by khelm »

"Okay, I know Polar and Atlas are sister airlines owned by AAWW, but are the using each other's aircraft? I have seen the blank Polar plane (N496MC) being used by Atlas even though it says "operated by Polar Air Cargo" on the side. Thats fine, but now there is this curve ball. (http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=1 ... 932&size=L) If you look by the cockpit windows its says "operated by Polar Air Cargo" even though its in Atlas Air's full livery. (And apparently its owned by Polar) WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"

If you look right under where you can choose medium, large, or fit screen pic sizes you will see a more reasonable link. The link shown there for this picture is http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1279262/L/ Justin"

Aircraft are sometimes swapped between subsidiaries for various reasons. in this case the aircraft is in fact operated by Polar
