QANTAS FREIGHT B747 FREIGHTER OPERATIONS Qantas Freight Enterprises has agreed to a six-year wet lease extension on three Boeing 747-400 Freighter aircraft leased from Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. The dedicated freighter fleet is used to operate a mix of scheduled and charter services and support Qantas passenger aircraft belly hold capacity to key cargo destinations around the globe.

I checked with the Engineers last time we had one through here,
Qantas Branding has refused to allow Atlas aircraft to be painted in QF colours.

I think it is mainly because our safety record

No, it doesnt, as Qantas paid a shiatload of money to fix the airframe, so it was called a incident,
Not a accident as the airframe wasnt written off
No one was injured, except for day old chicks in the front haul.

This is also the reason why no one without a asic is allowed in the cockpit, as the FO has his Girlfriend of a few days in the cockpit and she can be heard screaming on the black box recording

Tricky, but like i said, no Major Accidents

I love Qantas as much as anyone here. There is nothing like seeing that big red tail come taxying in, - especially when you're overseas and the airport is filled with strange tails.

I heared about 100 mill to fix it? Was it the origional "Longreach"? I can't remember
