CLS 747-200

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

CLS 747-200

Post by peter »

CLS has released a 747-200 package. At this time it does not have its freight levery but looks to be releasing Atlas & Polar paints. At this time us "X ers" dont have a 200F option as it is my understading that ready for pushback is FS9 only. Can we add this new line to our approved aircraft when the freight leveries are out??

Thw main policy here i that the aircraft must be as close to reality as possible to be used here. We will have to check; although they seemed to say their products are LITE. :(

Does it have an INS? Wouldn't want to use the Garmin GPS following the FS flight plan. :|

I remember a while back in these forums a fix that enabled RFPv2 to fly in FSX. I have not tried it with FSX. I am happy with using only my PMDG bird on FSX. (For some reason my signature failed to show up so I am manually typing it)

Has there been any update on this topic? Since the original posting, the cargo liveries (including GTI) have been released and there is an INS option available to better support realism. While of course not as detailed as RFP, it is a heck of a lot newer and supports both FS9 and FSX folks ( I'm the former). Finally, as a MATROX 'Triple Head 2Go' user, the VC dimension is pretty much standard (with some exception). Realizing RFP is rightfully king, 6-year old VC technology just ain't what it is today.

Should GCVA offer the option - CLS and/or RFP?

Respectfully,

I'm sorry and regret my post for even suggesting the CLS. I've been enjoying and really appreciating the RFP so much, I feel like a sap for ever having made the post in the first place.
