Very interesting Tomas!!

Lukla is sort of like the larger cousin of Courcheval Altiport. Also, back in the early 80's at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport, a siren was blown just prior to a flight's arrival to warn area residents to clear their livestock and put the football match on hold until the aircraft was parked at the gate.
