Facts about Cargo Flying

Post by GTI1643 »

Hi everyone, I was wondering if it is true that while a cargo aircraft is being loaded the parking brakes should be off?

Typically the brakes are left on, however on the MD-11 and DC-10-30, the brakes are supposed to be released during on and off loading to relieve stresses on the center landing gear.
