"Well, its about 20 degrees F at noon here in Tulsa! Soooo sitting here in the lounge drinking coffee, I was wondering has anyone ever come upon a program that actually places runways in a less than desireable condition? ie: ice patches etc etc? I know I can dream up the worst conditions in FS9 weather and the runways still appear unrealisticaly clear.."

FSX can ;) It seems familiar to me though that there was an addon at some time that would do that. I know nothing more about it ;) Justn"

"I think I had heard of one as well, but my age is telling off on me, I forgot who and where I had heard it! Speaking of scenery, I have been wanting to tweak my scenery at KORD and KMIA since I do most of my flying from those places. However, I have really been wanting something that adds to the "Cargo" experience. Something that might put eye candy around the cargo parking area, etc... It would really be neat if we had Polar or Atlas cargo add on scenery. So if anyone can direct me, I have looked all day and cant find anything."

"Regarding runways: I do get big patches of snow on my runways, some addon I loaded ages ago and which is now hidden in some 15 gigas of FS files... I am sure I got it from AVSIM coffee, donuts... what about schnaps? after the flights of course! Luc"

Does anyone know if RFP is compatible with FSX or if the glitches have been ironed out in PMDG ? I have a sneaking suspicion that the letter I wrote to Santa may pay off ! OK ! who took the last Doughnut ? Mike

So close on all your guesses- it's a fault in the Coke machine- correct change only!

"That was a good one! Well, found a little bit of add on stuff. I am not to snappy on the file stuff, but anyhow, the file was a zip file, I DL'd it, unzipped it into a temp folder, then took out the AFCAD file and copied and pasted it into my FS9/Addon scenery/scenery file.... But........... don't see any differences at all.... I went into FS9 settings and put "add-on scenery" at the very top of the list as priority one but still nothing? Any input?"

"Download the AFCAD maker tool, this will allow you to compare the difference between the Stock airport and the Modified Airport! Or, you could do what I have done, and build your own airport :D Its great fun! I have built KMIA (Miami Intl) from scratch, deleting all taxiways and parking spots and redoing all of it according to the Airport Diagram and the Parking Locations supplied on the website for Miami. I think its great, but it took me a long time because i kept on stopping! If you want to try the 'Modified' KMIA that i have done, your welcome, just pop me a PM Ross S"
