"Now that I have the aircraft back, anyone know how to get into the panel configs when the window icon box appears. That's the square box, blue line on top and six icons within the box. I can't get into anything. Want to get the CIVA INS installed before I go back to flying. Can't believe the problems getting started again by simply reformatting and restarting a hard drive."

When you click on it the message says: Windows cannot open this file. To open this file windows needs to know what created it. All of my panel and aircraft files are represented like that."

"im not sure what you mean either.... to look at a config file, open it with notepad, when you get that message.. there is a list of programs, notepad should be there, click on it.... but it would seem strange you have to open them that way, maybe im not understanding what you mean. ed 1287"

"Thanks to ya'll I got the panels finally with the notepad icon. Really strange how everything got re-installed. Found everything, learned some lessons and am back up flying the routes. Thanks again."
