"Good day folks. I'm currently sitting in the middle east after my flight from LAX. Now, the question is this: I'm hubbed out of NSA, but would like to make it a ""realistic"" flight back to the US. I suppose I could jumpseat back, but I'd prefer to fly one of the flights into LAX or ORD or such. Is this allowed? Also, do I get credit for it? Appreciate it! -Rick #1345"

Currently we don't do jumpseat rides back to your hub. Maybe in the future there will be provisions made for such a thing, but for now, nope. You have a couple of choices though: 1. Fly your own flight back to ORD or LAX to get that ""realsitic experience"". However you cannot submit a PIREP for it and get credit for it. Or, 2. Grab a charter flight and fly that back to the States. Looking at the EME charter flights the only thing that I see available coming out of the Middle East is: GTI638 ? 919nm/2063nm OMDB Dubai, UAE - OEJN Jeddah, Saudi Arabia ? LFMN Nice, France Empty between OMDB-OEJN 84,000 LBS of personal goods and 4 cars from OEJN to LFMN Customer: Saudi prince Then if you ""virtually"" want to hop on the Chunnel train and get yourself to Stansted somehow and fly: GTI635 ? 4215nm EGSS Stansted,UK ? KIAH Houston TX,USA 118,000 LBS of regular freight Weekly scheduled flight operated on behalf of British Airways World Cargo Depart EGSS at 11:05 local you technically could get yourself at least Stateside. BUT, that's a lot of flying my friend and this is NOT the norm around here at Globe Cargo. If you want to do it realistically, I suppose one could do this. Ask Michel Legein the Atlas Admin. first to see if it's o.k. with him though. I don't think it will be a problem. Good luck ."

"Rick, Welcome to Globe Cargo. You are limited to the Polar flights that are associated with your region. The idea is that you catch a ride back to the US, although you don't get credit for it. I do agree that it would be nice to fly both ways in the future. The EMEA region already has a few transatlantic flights in both directions, but not many. If you are interested in the Atlas charters, then place you bid within the post in the Atlas section of the forum. You can only bid for one flight at a time, so you would need to complete the first charter before you can bid again. Also, the Atlas charters are in addition to, not instead of, your monthly Polar flight(s). Check us out. New charter flights are being published regularly, and we fly in all directions all over the world. "
