"Hi Got this off my other VA, quite unpleasant, - have a look!! <a href='

http://www.thatvideosite.com/view/2652.html</a> Details are:- Tradewinds 747-200F heading to Miami had engine problem on TO run, aborted TO, and ran off the end of the runway at SKRG (Jose Maria Cordova, Rionegro Columbia) Obviously runway very wet. Nose gear sheared off, severe damage (Check the flameout on No2!!). 5 crew on board some injuries but luckily no fatals. Makes me wonder what good these V1 speeds etc. are all about, taking off heavy from some airports?? Regards John PS. Taken by the gate security camera"

"Ouch! I didn't research it but I bet that's an ex-Polar aircraft. Tradewinds has obtained several of Polars' older 742's. What a shame, another classic headed to the scrap yard... <!--emo&:(--><!--endemo-->"
