TCAS Problems

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

"Hey All, I have had extrodinerely large amounts of problems getting the panel.cfg files to work! Thanks to Mark Adams they now work! The TCAS is the problem now though. When I open the Radio Stack to start the TCAS, I flick the Bottom-Left toggle switch to Turn the TCAS ON, but it Flicks to the TEST MODE and sticks on it! An oral says ""TCAS OK"" so I try and flick it onto any other modes but nothing happens, the TCAS is stuck on TEST MODE :o Any Ideas! Thanks, Ross S"

"ok, ill try this one....if you are refering to the fs acars button for fs flight keeper you installed on the panel, you need to reinstall it every time you install the new panel update for v3. I also found i needed to go into the panel config file and resize the flight keeper guage panel, or it doesnt show up, too small... ed mosier"

"Hey Ed, No im talking about the FSACARS button for FSACARS which is usually located in the bottom area of the main panel. After i got the new panel.cfg files, i am guessing that I will need to reinstall the FSACARS program. If I do this, i will backup all my configuration files :) Thanks, Ross S"
