"That was a quote used by my Aerospace Science Instructor when I was in JROTC 13 years ago. Great man, leader, and teacher. I totally agree with his quote. I have about 15 hours into a PPL and can't stand it when someone else is flying. I'd rather be on the ground."

"Ted, How long do I have to complete a Polar Open Board Flight? I selected a US Region flight (PO703) about a week ago and its taken me a week to set my sim up with everything Globe has to offer. I plan on completing the flight in the next week (kids going back to school). Do I have to use the flight plan in the dispatch release? FS2004/RC4 does not accept the flight plan. I prefer to use the FS2004 flight planner (high altitude jet routes) and use a modified GPS (KLN90) for navigation (CIVA INS as a backup)."

Welcome aboard Jason! There is no official limitation on when to complete Polar flights other than in the month the flight was to be operated. We prefer the flight be completed within the proper week but you won't face any disciplinary action if that isn't accomplished. We give you an entire month to get your FS setup with everything and your first flight logged before you start hearing from us ;) Justin

"Welcome aboard Jason. By the way, if you need more time to fly, just send $$$ to the NSA Region Manager; you'll have until the end of the year. "

How about a payraise for us pilots instead of letting all the money go straight into the managers pocket! It's getting more and more real life here at Globe Cargo.

We already gave a pay raise to the computer flying the plane (that's for 744) "
