I have been using from Farstone Technology Inc. their Virtual Drive 9 and it solve the above problem. Basically you have on your hard drive a copy of the Disc 4 and you never have to insert the disc in your PC. It is worth the expense.

Bryan, you obviously did not see Canadian jails; they are called Club Fed. A Minimum one in B.C. even has a 9 hole...go figure..."

"There,s a Gaol over here called Pentonville, its in London and its just been on the News that they want to close it because the Inmates are frightened of the Gaolers and it,s infested with Rats (the four legged kind ) and Roaches. Personally I think the more Gaols like that the better ! its a punishment for Gods Sake ! Mike

The FS9 "no-CD-pacth" is not illegal at all. It is an official .EXE from Microsoft of the OEM-FS-version for notebooks. I am using this EXE for three years and do not feel that I am violating any copyrights.

"Thanks, Bodo! I thought so too (that's the exe that I use as well). It doesn't make ANY sense having to grind one's original FS CD to bits in the CD-ROM year after year after year (having bought the game fair and square). I hate those "you have to insert your original CD to play" copy protections. Just makes life difficult also for those of us who pay for our software! It's sort of like shooting flies with a cannon. Anyway, happy flying! Petri"

Not to get away from airplanes but a friend working for Correctiond Canada told me that if they have been 'good' the are allowed their Gamecube (at ther time) in what we call 'The hole'. Canadian Prisonners also have Duty Free cigarettes and it is also the only Federal building were they can smoke although the Guards and the Warden can't mind you.
