What Web Site to Use

"I am a little confused on what web site we should be operating from at this time. The old web site has a message on it that indicates we all should use the new web site. However, I don't believe all pilot IDs have been transfered over to the new web site as yet, mine included as I am unable to log-on there. The new web site pilot roster goes up to pilot ID 1496. I am 1505. Is the new web site indeed where we should be operating from now? Jerry Lauderbaugh First Officer 1505"

"Hi Jerry, just saw your post. I went and read that message, I believe we are still using the old web site right now. I myself don't remember my password to even get into the new site. My computer remembers my password for the old one. But anyhow, someone jump in if I am wrong on this. I used the old web site to check my flight schedule and to place my bid for November, so I think I am ok in what I am telling you. Jerry, I just went in and looked around (found my old password
) Anyhow, it is still under developement, but I am sure you are welcome to go in with your same password and just check it out."

Thanks Bryan ... I think you are probably right. A second read of the message on the "old" web site seems to say just go have a look but it's not fully operational as yet. Thanks for the reply Jerry Lauderbaugh

"Use the old website for bidding, open board, Atlas charters, and hour tracking. The new website has the aircraft repaints and the forum. Keep checking the new website- there is more and more functionality as they progress..."

The "old" website is our operational website. The "new" website is made available for members to view just to watch the progress of its programming. Some things may be "active" on the new site such as the liveries. To hold the liveries we needed to code a security function which would have been slightly different between the two sites so we opted to not make it available on the old site. Other things like that may come up in which we make parts of the new site available before the site is operational in its entirety. Databases are not kept up to date on the new site hence the missing pilots from the roster. The old site is kept current. Justin

"Justin, the new site sure does have some promising looking links! Can't wait to get them up and going. Will make things a bit easier in planning. I am looking forward to getting to fly a bit more someday soon. I have only been able to make one a month. Schedules schedules schedules!!!!!
Real world jobs just get in the way all too often!"
