Polar Air Cargo on Monday announced it will begin scheduled-service operations into Beijing Capital International Airport with two weekly frequencies starting Nov. 11. Polar now serves China through its operations in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The U.S. Department of Transportation in August awarded Polar four additional weekly frequencies for U.S.-China air-cargo services beginning March 25. The additions increase the carrier's total weekly China flights to 16.
