Here is my work up of the PAC Ground Crew T-shirt.... Image Now if I could just find a way to get it silk-screened onto a T-shirt of the same color so it would look right :(

"Made it a bit smaller for those with lower resolutions, hopefully it is not now obnoxiously large like before. I want to get one made before I go to a VATSIM/VATUSA/AVSIM conference. lol"

"Very nice! A couple months ago I was researching the possibility of have some nice polo type shirts made with the GC logo on it. There were some reasonable prices but I didn't pursue the idea any further because the initial investment was more than I can afford on my wages. For future reference is there any interest in such products (sold at cost)? I was also looking for wings to have our logo put on to, I found a couple places that do that. Justin"

"I'd be interested. I have asked the local silk screening company if they could quote me a cost on making this t-shirt, so I will post that if I get a cost."

"I think the only issue could be the use of the logo, but it's not diminishing their logo, like making furniture out of their boxes ala FEDEX which also is not a violation, but would probably irritate them if we denigrated their trademark and diminished it's value in anyway. There is no attempt to confuse consumers about the product/service, so ok there, and other than the logo and slogan it's original work, the 747 and the fonts are all different. So I think there is a reason to ask them if it is ok, but if they haven't thrown a fit about the VA, I think we are ok there. But who knows, if I ask, maybe they'll let us have a few of the real thing (?) I might make a phone call and speak to someone about buying some from them."

You can buy real Polar/Atlas gear through one of our Chief Pilots, Craig Applegate, who works at Polar. They sell caps, shirts, jackets, bags, teddy bears, desk models, mugs and other items. I don't know about availability."

"Now there's an idea, maybe they would cut us a break on quantity orders? Actually it might be cheaper than having them made, but then again, who knows what their mark up is..."
