"I'm sure I am probably the last to figure this out, but it was so cool I had to share it.. When in the virtual cockpit view when I had parked and shut down engines, (apu on) I just kind of explored some things. Looking from the Pilot's seat down at the center console, find the ACARS printer. Hit the print button and a small ACARS tape will come out of the slot! I thought that was just kind of cool!"

"I had never really just explored the virtual cockpit view. I did some walking around in the cargo bays and all that stuff, then started just pointing the mouse at different objects and found that one. Also noticed that if you point at the Atlas books that are in the bookshelves and click on them, they will move to different positions LOL. Haven't really found anything else new."

"I always try and fly in the Virtual Cockpit, but it can get a bit jumpy and jittery at times. Anyhow, whilst on my travels around the VC I noticed that the tray table pops out, the handle stopping the books from falling moves up and down, the seats move backwards, forwards and turn, the ACARS printer prints, the books move, the control column can be moved down to use the FMC, the flightdeck doors opens (PAX Version), the PMDG drink cans move around and if you have got Active Camera there is a ton of other things you can do in the galley, such as finding a pogo stick    Well thats what I have managed to find so far. lol"

"I've got active camera, I did see the pogo stick but it was near the nose cargo door. LOL, I jumped around on it a few times until I hit one of the pallet rollers and it launched me out the door! (kidding) But the galley, I didn't find anything on the Cargo version?"

"Mike, I have only tried it in the cargo version. One thing to warn you about. I only play with it after the flight is over because the key assignments for the "walk around" conflict with some of the autopilot and trim controls!!!! I found that out the hard way. It was a real bummer trying to go down into the cargo hold and hearing the "whoop whoop! Pull up!" all at the same time. However, if you go into the menu items at the top of FS screen, you will finally see Active Camera/Key assignments. That will tell you how to lower and raise yourself up, walk around, look up and down, etc. The stairs is kind of cheesy, you just have to walk then raise yourself up, walk repeat, etc. I think the pax version is a little more into it, I am not totally familiar with it, so anyone else jump in here. I would love to learn more about it too. One thing I didn't like was first off the door at the back of the pax area in the 744 Cargo version will not open. I can turn the knob but nothing else. Also, if you walk through it, it's only air back there! No aircraft. So I couldn't find any stairs at all. I figured it was probably only modeled in the Pax version of the 744."

"I just bought Active Camera for a tenner which is a bit of a bargain if you ask me, and I think I may have kind of mastered it all ready (check out some of my pics on bebo 8)). Anyhow, I cant figure out the climbing and descending of the stairs at all! I have looked on the key assignments and there are no keys for lowering and raising yourself from what I can see  . I walked around the PAX version of the 744 and wanted to go downstairs and also on the RFP742 I couldnt go downstairs, only into the back cabin! Any special ways of doing this? Thanks"

"I found my key assignments in the menu on the top border of FS when my flight was loaded and running. The key assignments for my Up and Down were CTRL Home and CTRL End. Also CTRL Page up and CTRL Page Down. Now, just try that, because one is for "looking up" one is for looking down, and one is for going up and other for going down."
