"Gentlemen, Well done! Congratulations on the roll out. It is obvious a tremendous amount of effort went into getting the DHL Division ready for prime time. Looks like a lot of good shorties to choose from...from around the globe (no pun intended). I love the "vibrant" DHL ops page. Pass the sunglasses! :-)"

In regard to the graphics you guys are seeing on both sites... Justin and Tomas did a tremendous amount of painstaking work in these areas. So let them know how we appreciate that work! Looks great!

Just wanted to pass on my congratulations on a great job on the rollout. It has been a long time since I have flown either one of these birds.

"Yes a really great job, very well done! Already 2 flights on Vatsim, all probs with FSACARS solved. One suggestion for those who use FSACARS, I would leave the "mail" option blank like below
It avoids some mid flight crashes"

I'll second that Luc i have found 90% of the problems with fsacars is related to the mail send feature...like Luc says best to leave it blank fellas...

"Re flights on Vatsim: Which call sign should we use, ES, DHX or DHL. I used DHX but controllers did not understand it was for DHL which is very close to DLH, the Lufthansa call sign. Suggestions? Luc"

"Go for DHL Luc :) I think when controllers contact you, the will say "DHL101" like "Virgin19", "Giant503" etc... So, DHL would probs be best :D Ross"

The division is not intended to be a stand alone VA or compete with other DHL VA's.
- Quoted from GC home page. There are other DHL VAs? I didn't see any on the VATSIM VA list.

"Rick: Javier had mentioned something to the effect that he had "seen" one recently, but from what I understood it was not much to speak of. I myself have not found one, I often go looking around just to see "who" is out there and what they are doing, after all we have to stay current here at GC!!! But I think Justin's comment is more of a "disclaimer" just to keep things on the level in case someone gets a burr in their saddle..."

There is a DHL VA however it is a division of one of those mega VA's that simulates a many airlines. I don't recall its parent VA. There may be others but that's the one I have seen."

Just a little DHL info...DHL's European ops based in Donnington UK is as follows DHL AIR ICAO Code: DHK IATA Code: D0 Voice Callsign: World Express now the American version is a little trickier as DHL bought out Airborne Expresses ground operation then spun off it's air operations as ABX Air as DHL was prohibited by the SEC to own American air operations so now ABX does 90% of DHL's business in the "America's" so they do business here as ABX ICAO Code ABX IATA code GB and Callsign ABEX but in DHL colors Whew i hope that makes sense

"Mike, your right it is complicated. Due to all the sub-contractors and buying out and what not, we had to go with DHL international just to make it simple. If a guy was going to make a strictly DHL only VA, I think the complexity of multiple carriers would have been way too much for even that to keep up with."
