"Ok, heres the deal. Im checking something on my computer 10 hours into my LAX-ICN flight and I accidentally (auto save off) close GCP. Any ideas as to how I can file this PIREP without redoing the route? Any help is greatly appreciated, THANKS!"

There are a couple options, as long as you haven't completed the flight yet... Option 1: Restart GCP and load the flight data that is saved automatically whether or not autosave is on. The file name will be of the format Flight#_Departure-Destination_FSdate.gcp. This will allow you to recover the logging tho the off time and fuel will be innacurate (the time and fuel is recorded when you connect GCP to FS and you are already in flight). The correct on and in time/fuel will be captured with the in time/fuel being what's used for the PIREP. Unfortunately I found an issue in the GCP that I released which when a flight is loaded a timer that needs to be running to log events is not started so in the current version of GCP your on/in times won't be captured. This has been fixed in an update I'll release soon. Option 2: Load the flight in GCP as stated above. Do this to find out your out time/fuel. Then manually record your in time/fuel and calculate total time and fuel and email it to your administrator who can manually enter the pirep. If you have completed the flight already, sorry, there's nothing that can be done because the times weren't recorded. Hope that helps and you are able to get the times somehow, Justin"

Option 1 worked like a charm. Should you find yourself in JFK or any of the 3 NY area airports as part of your real world job, I owe you several beers. Thanks. A suggestion I would have is to enable GCP to run in the system tray so click happy people like myself wont have to worry about this. Either that or an "are you sure" dialogue box."

I'm glad it worked out for you, I've had to redo a 12 hour flight 3 times before...it's not fun I'll keep that in mind when I go to NY, we go to LGA, HPN, EWR...well, it would probably be easier to list the airports we *don't* go to out there I'll PM you if I know in advance that I'll be going to one of those places Thanks for the suggestion, I'll see if I can get that into this update I'm working on.
