Lost flight

Saturday, I flew an Atlas flight from KMIA to KBGR. I used GC Pirep utility. When the flight was done, I sent the PIREP, and it said it was sent successfully. What I didn't know is that the website was down, and it didn't log it. Now, the utility will not let me send it again. The Send Pirep button will not show up red, even when I load the flight from the log file. Is there any way to get this flight logged now, manually, by you guys? I can send the log file if needed. Thanks.

I lost 2 flights from Wednesday...Im sure the ISP transition, when it is all sorted out, will restore all these items.

If you guys have FSFK, the flights should be saved in your FSFK logbooks, but if not, I don't know what else to do, but make sure we reduce your check to reflect the lower number of hours??

Here's the way around this: open the same file you load into GCP, into Word or Notepad. In the [GCP Variables] section find "nPirepSent=1" and change it to "nPirepSent=0" and save. Now load that flight in GCP and the Send Pirep button will be active again allowing you to send the Pirep.

This is all that is in my log:
Flight: GTI204
Pilot: 1460
Aircraft: N492MC
Departure: KMIA
Destination: KBGR
Takeoff Alternate:
Enroute Alternate:
Destination Alternate:
Cargo: 105690
Touchdown Rate: -633
Distance: 1269
Max Sim Rate: 1
Block Time: 03:01
Block Fuel: 67903
I don't see any "GCP Variables" like you are talking about. Can you enlighten me as to which file you are talking about? I got the above info out of the "log" folder under the file with my flight name.

Sorry, look in your GCP\Flights folder. The file name will be Flight#_DEP-ARR_Date.gcp such as PO183_KLAX-VHHH_20071103.gcp. The file you show above is from the Logs folder.

OK, I think I really messed things up now. I changed it to a .txt file so i could read it and make the changes. However, how do I change it back to a .gcp file? I can't load it into the utility until it is back in that format. Thanks for helping a computer illiterate dinosaur!

Change you folder view to show extensions.
Tools > Folder Options > View > uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" > OK
Highlight the file and press F2 to change the name. Now change .txt to .gcp.

OK, got it. I filed it, but it showed up as a flight in 2005. Oh well, at least it is filed. Thanks.

I changed that flight to 2007. Pireps for GCP are filed as the FS date in which it was flown. Sometimes I forget to change the date and they show up as July 2003 which is the default date for FS.

I've lost 6 months of pireps and flights according to my roster
. I'm down from 239 to 101 hours. All flights between april 19th and october 12th are gone. Any thoughts on that or should I re-send all those flights? I think it has to do with the change over to the new server?

Yes, this is because of corrupted data our old server gave us. It looks like it has only affected FSFK pireps at this point. I had printed a roster on August 14th 2007. I can credit your hours to that day and if you can resend your pireps from Aug 15 to present, you should be back up to your current hours. This goes for anyone with missing hours just let me know if you want me to credit your hours to what you had on August 14th so you don't have to resend many months worth of flights.

Thanks Justin but I've just uploaded all the flights again. I'm up to date again
