Hi,
I've installed the GCP 2.2.1 but it's giving the "application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect, reinstalling may fix this problem" message. I've following files in GCP install directory;
aircrafttypes
airlines
airports
FSUIPCClient.dll
Globe Cargo PIREP
Globe Cargo PIREP.exe
Win XP SP2, avast AV.

Do you have microsoft's netframework 2.0 installed on your machine?

Yes I've .net 2.0. I've read that some files were missing in previous versions of the GCP, could that be same case again?

I will be working on this over the weekend. I've seen this problem on an earlier version and I believe I just need to include some other files in the installer. I'll put out a new installer when I get there. If any of you with this problem is able to help me trouble shoot (receive a number of installers to see if they work) let me know.

I have Vista operating system and GCP221_Full will not load. It gets an error because the registry file is incorrect. The program is a bust. How about the FSCARS, is this program still working?

Yes FSACARS is working but lets have a little more faith in GCP, even some payware doesn't work properly in vista yet.

I believe this may be associated with the problems others are having with GCP. Does anyone out there have GCP currently working on Vista? I don't have Vista so I am unable to test on that platform.
FSACARS does certainly work but once GCP is working with no problems for anyone FSACARS will be discontinued. FSACARS is unstable for most and is no longer supported by the developer as I understand. But don't worry, we aren't going to leave anyone behind who doesn't have FSFK or GCP working.

How do you get FSFK working. I have is loaded and it will not communicate with the GCVA web site.

Roger, you first have to insure your templates are loaded properly. Check the FSFK thread on the forum and see if you can find the appropriate information. If not, Tomas will have to send it to you. There are certain settings on the email portion that must be correct.

Yes, make sure you have the templates from the download section on our website. Put them in the folder and then make sure to select them in the options window... If you run into problems, send me a note...

Justin,
I'm a new pilot also attempting to install into Vista 64 and get a message saying I need to act as administrator when indeed I'm already in that capacity. Just thought you would want to know for your trouble shooting efforts.

Hold on guys..
Justin build a new installer with the missing files and GCP is working fine now. I think he'll be back in a few days and upload the new build.
FSFK Will not communicate with the proper server at GCVA.

I have the FSFK download loaded in the email/templates. It send the PIREP to GCVA but does not put it in the pilots file of flights flown. What could be the problem?
