Hey Guys,

After a long 3rd and 4th quarter managing product deliverables well over 8million dollars in real life, I'm back to my hobby. I have been doing my best to keep up with things even though I haven't been able to fly lately. I have talked with Louis and setup that I would start flying this month. I have just completed ZGGG to RJAA. but the log shows only 1 minute of block time, while this flight was a few minutes over 4 hours and about 1800 miles with a VENUS.STAR arrival to 16R.

Plus my log books is missing several other flights. I should be pushing with this latest flight about 23 block hours of flight time. I know small potatoes, but I do love this VA and I do my best to fly at least once a month at per requirements.

I hope I didn't screw something else up. On this latest flight I tried and failed with the GC 2.2.2. version. I usually use Flight Keeper and I did try to log the flight with this program. It said it logged successfully but clearly not my 4 hours of block time.

I guess I'm out of luck, eh? I will do my best to get the next flight in asap.

Jeffery:

I don't know if you are aware, but FSFK users lost a lot of flights when the ISP changed a while back. It's no biggie other than losing hours, it won't count against you here. If you have those flights still in FSFK, you can resubmit them so your hours are brought up to speed. I am assuming that is what you were talking about when you said you were missing flights.

As for the erroneous time reporting on your last flight, I am not sure what that could be.

Bryan,

Yes, that sounds exactly like what happen and I wasn't aware of the issue thank you. I think, and I am probably wrong, but after I landed and before I posted my flight, I noticed that GCP222 was disconnected, when I connected my flight in essence reset and I lost the hours of flight? Could that be possible?

Happy Holidays to all the GC community.

You'll have to check with Justin on that. He knows more about that. I assume it's possible, but I also know there is a way to go back and recover a flight if you had your settings to save flight.
