Home Cockpit
Anyone at Globe have a Home Cockpit set up... Meaning an actual cockpit built? I know there is one, but I want to see if anyone else is into this area of simming. I have thought about it, but I just don't think I would ever have the room.

I seriously considered this a couple of years ago, did a lot of research into it and still have a passion to build a full size B744 but if I do I want to do it right which will take time & money. I am single so luckily I have money to waste on such 'weird' pursuits, but time is something I don't have much of at present as career commitments just seem to take priority. I think will end up being a retirement project - although that is many years away yet. I actually work in the Control Systems field so it would be a project that would allow me to apply my skills to my beloved hobby. If you want any info, links, contacts msg me.

Yeah, I thought about maybe getting an FMS to use and maybe some pedals and a yoke would help. Right now I have the CH Throttle Quadrant, and a twisty joystick and a TrackIR, so not much, but I would LOVE to have a giant crate painted like a Polar 747 stuffed full of monitors and a few real seats for a 747, but for now, I have to live with my wife and it just ain't goin' no further.
