OK, got an "Auto-bid for December" email stating I did not submit a bid for December. Hello, yes I did and I have the Polar bid confirmation to prove it. Anybody else getting this?

Before we all go flying off the handle here, remember this is the very first month of the new autobid system and it may have flaws. If you did actually bid for December do that flight(s) and ignore the autobid flight.

I intentionally failed to bid to test the system so unfortunately I can't confirm myself whether or not pilots who did bid are still getting the autobid email. So others who bid manually please let us know here and Tomas will check it out.

I got the message that I had failed to bi when in fact I choose 4 flights; guess there is a little glitch in the system.

I also got the auto bid message

Hi I did a bid for two flights and got this auto message aswell.

However, this auto message made me visit this forum for a long time though

Thanks Justin, figured it must be a glitch. I checked the flight assignments and it shows my 3 bid flights and the auto-bid flight was inserted into its' time slot.

At this time I am not sure why it worked for some pilots and not for others. Maybe those that did not bid and got an auto-bid assigned could post? That would help me track down the issue. It may be a difference between databases or versions of PHP between my development box and the server. Or something else. Obviously this is close to impossible to test on a live system and it worked as intended on the development box. Back to the drawing board I guess...

[Edit:] OK, I think I found the glitch. I will try to set up a test environment either locally on my machine or on a separate partition on the server. My apologies for the emails and any confusion they may have caused!

I did not bid and did not get an automated bid either.

I bid on Tuesday - no auto bids have hit my e-mail

Well that's too bad because I 'm currently locked inside the exec washroom with the flight attendants.

We hire only male flight attendants.
