Last night I ordered two plastic models. From the Atlas store I bought a Polar 744 and Atlas 744 model, looking forward their delivery! I got the 14 inch, 1:200 scale models which are $30 each. I tried to get the 1:1 scale models but my card was declined.

Yeah, that would be a budget buster for my household as well...

Please let us know what you think of the models when you get them.

How could you order? I taught that you had to be an employee?

Louis, Go here:

Create an account and beware of the shipping costs to Canada. It scared me away from buying. Unless I meet Justin at CYWG. When he flies in.

:) I will actually be in town within the next week. Unfortunately just on a turn and if I enter the gate area I'd have to go thru customs :(

LOL, 1:1 I'd like that one too Justin, but I think my card would get the boot as well

The shipping was going to be $55.00 to Canada.

I found an alternative:

http://www.airplaneshop.com/

I am willing to chip in the $15.00 I saved for that wheel. :P

Nice site, I'll have to check it out more when I'm shopping for more models. I have bought all of my other models from www.airplanesuperstore.com. I went there first for these models but the companies they list either don't make Polar/Atlas or they quit making them.

You must be very careful when it comes to dealing with Customs officers in Canada - especially if you are a Pole...

I just took delivery of the models. These models are the highest quality I have. I have probably 20 models, mostly of the 1:250 or 1:300 scale. These models come with landing gear, a first for my collection. Very nice models and $30 a piece is a bargain.
