Throttle hardware

Hi everyone! I'm thinking about buying a throttle hardware to make my flights more real. I was wondering if you can recommend one. So far I've read about the GoFlight throttle and CH products one. Do you have any comments about these two?
Thanks!

I have the CH throttle quad. I like it even more than the rudder pedals and yoke! I have had no problems with my CH throttle quad. I've had it for, gosh, about 4 years. The only complaint I might have is that the detents seem to be wearing a little bit but still doesn't hamper the operation. I have been eyeing the new throttle quad, I forget who makes it, but to get the same setup I'd have to buy two peices of their hardware to run a 4 engine setup.
I don't know much about the other throttle quad so it may be better, but you can't go wrong with the CH throttle quad. Whatever you get, the throttle quad is a great investment for realism and will become your favorite piece of hardware.

Justin,
I think what you're looking at is the
Saitek throttle.
I'm going to be buying it in the next month and will let you all know how it works out.
I'm getting it along with the Yoke and rudder pedals. All for a cool $300

I like the Saitek stuff as far as looks go. I am afraid of the bad reports I have read on it. I read the comments on one site, and there was about 5 people that said they had to box it up and send it back? I only saw two good remarks. I do like the looks and also it appears more rugged and durable then the CH stuff.
I wish there was a store that sold the stuff close by so I could try it out! LOL I know you do have to have two throttle quads to run 4 engines. That didn't really bother me much, just afraid of the reports I have heard. I hope you get it Justin, I'd like to hear it straight from the horses mouth. You never know if some of those bad reports are just the "other" side trying to discredit the competition.

I got me the saitek stuff over the last few months...yoke with throttles, extra throttle quad and peddals...
all nice stuff, but I did get those phantom view button presses on my first couple of flights.
There are some things you need to set up and delete some things in your fs settings, but after that it all seems to be working fine, at
least for the several flights I have done since.
The second throttle quad comes with a handle, or bar, to link all 4 engines together, if you want. I found that easier than trying to advance 4
individual throttles evenly on t.o.
some tips and info can be found here....

now if I could only find more time to fly....

Like Justin, I have been using the CH throttle + pedals + yoke for over 3 years and I love them, particularly the Quadrant throttle. I could not fly without!

Another thing to keep in mind is to have a fully registered FSUIPC. With the registered version you are able calibrate throttle quads much more accurately. Additionally, you have a wider spectrum of functions you can assign to joystick/throttle quad switches.
Ed's post reminded me that when assigning buttons via FSUIPC be sure to delete joystick button assignments in the FS settings or you will find buttons/switches accuating 2 different items.

Thanks a lot for your comments!
I'm thinking about getting the CH products one since I already have the yoke. But I have some questions, I was looking at some pictures and it appears that the throttles move up and down a very short distance, how does the actual thing feel? Thanks!

I have the Saitek joystick and throttle plus an extra throttle and rudder pedals. Took me a while to assign correctly but would not fly without the stuff anymore.
