Returning to Globe Cargo

Greeting and Hello!

Hello everyone, My name is Dennis and I just returned after leaving Globe Cargo two years ago. I left the states and was working overseas thus both time and facilities made my decision to leave Globe. At that time, Globe just flew Ready for Pushback 742 and am glad to see the progress since then. Hi Justin, I did remember a couple of contacts by email with you in the past. Great to hear how successful you have been and now the top man here. Late Congratulations!

I do not mind starting back at First Officer, actually motivated, lots of hours to catch up. Getting use to GCP was a little challenge, but I have a couple of records down already and should be ok!(I did use FSFK before).

I am a US citizen born and raised in Hawaii(Honolulu), but have been living and working in Asia for the past 20 years. Presently, I am in Taiwan! Hope to communicate and share the skies with all of you in the future.

First question? If I want to fly the RFP 742 aircraft, am I allowed to do so on any 747 Route? Just check the maintenance logs to see if the 742 aircrafts are operating and choose them? Any restrictions? :?:

Again, great to be back and thank you for accepting me back. :!:

Best regards,

Dennis :D :P

Welcome back Dennis! I just came back myself after taking an LOA due to life/work schedule. I remember communicating with you in the past and helping you out when I was part of management here with GC in the NSA region.

Great to have you with us again and if there's anything I can help you out with don't hesitate to PM me anytime :) .

Hi Dennis, There,s a few changes since last you were here, all bid Flights are assigned a particular Aeroplane with its own Assigned Number , either 744 or 742 , the Admin try to stick as close as possible to the real world, and provided there are no MEL Restrictions preventing it, you fly the Aeroplane assigned to that Route. We now have a DHL Division as well as the Atlas Division which again try,s to mirror real world Route,s etc , and thats where you get to fly something a little different, say an ATR72-500 or a 757 200 or a 767, but these are flights that are in addition to ,but do not replace the Bid Flights which must be completed each month , and in case you forget to bid one will be assigned to you automatically , thats about it, oh yeah , you have to take a Test for Promo to Capt after a set min hours flown. Welcome Back
ps + you have the usual open board Flights

Dear Mike and Louis,

Thanks Mike for the response. Understood!. Yes, I like the variety of planes to fly. Level D 767, PSS 757 and PMDG 747 along with the RFP 742 are great and love to fly them. Thanks again for the info! Will follow and abide by the rules

Hi Louis, I also remember you!. My hours when I left was over 1000 hours I recall.

Take care, have to go flying again.

Dennis

Hi Dennis, I certainly do remember you and welcome back! If Louis has trouble finding your old hours I'm sure I've got a roster print off from back then.

I'm happy to hear you like how GC has grown and there's more to come!
