Hey guys, i'm having a problem installing all the liveries using the package download. I don't really understand step 3 "
3.) Copy the content of the texture folder of the ZIP file into the
duplicated folder and OVERWRITE the exsiting textures with them in the ZIP file. If extracting from WinZip or WinRar be sure the "Use Folder Names" option is unchecked."

My problem is i copy the texture and paste them into the Duplicate folders, and i don't know what to do with them. I dont understand "OVERWRITE the exsiting textures with them in the ZIP file. If extracting from WinZip or WinRar be sure the "Use Folder Names" option is unchecked."

What exsiting textures are they talking about? I'm using WinZip and i dont see "Use Folder Names" option, where is this?

I'm sorry if this seems like a noob question, i've been trying to do this for an hour and its kicking my butt. Thanks

Joe

Joe,

This process is a bit of a pain in the butt. How I basically did it was I copied a texture folder out of the PMDG folder to my desktop. Then I I overwrote that folder one at a time with the liveries in the .ZIP one at a time, making sure to rename the folder after I was done. Just be sure to name them whatever the .CFG file calls them out to be so that FS recognizes the textures.

So i'm suppost to be doing this is the PMDG folder or the Aircraft folder? because i've been trying to do this in the Aircraft folder because it never said which one in the directions, i just assumed. And i'm doing this in FS9.

Thanks
Joe

Eventually youll have a texture folder for each aircraft in the PMDG aircraft folder.
