Looking for scenery for Doha. If anyone knows any links, excluding AVSIM, I'd be very grateful. Thanks.

OTBH, eh?! Funny that you mention it since I just did a flight out of there! I have a package for it and a quick search on http://www.flightsim.com shows the same files. Do a file search for "otbh*". It is for FS9 so I haven't actually tried it - I use FSX... Oh, and OTBH is Al Udeid AB. I that the same as Doha??

If you have problems with the download, send me an email and I can get you my files.

Doha is in Qatar and the codes are OTBD and DOH. Al Udeid AB is also in Qatar, 16nm away with the airport codes OTBH and IUD.

Yes it is my mistake to think of it as Doha. Downloaded the AFCAD file from Flightsim.com
and will install. Funny enough my Jeppsesen doesn't have any charts for this airport, I guess
because it must be strictly military. Thanks for the replies, your help much appreciated.

There's a chart here but it is not very clear.

I cant speak for FS9, but the FSX version is just a runway, now ramps or taxiways. Also, the ILS isnt modelled.

If you really need the ILS in the middle of the desert then you probably shouldn't be landing anyways since you most likely are in the middle of a sandstorm!

I am sure they get there fair share of Instrument approaches right next to the Persian gulf and fog that comes in. Every time I have flown in there and Kuwait using Active sky I end up next to minimums on approach.
