Frustrating.....

Hi guys,

has anyone of you ever experienced this:

Preparing for flight (flightplan, starting up the sim, activesky, radarcontact) and then after 30 minutes or so preparations: a beautiful TO at KORD for a 8 hour flight into PHNL. After a few hours in cruise (in the meantime I was checking e-mails and some work-related stuff) I checked on my flight. (Epecially fuel, since you have to switch to Tank to Engine configuration at some point).

Everything was OK. FS9, Radarcontact, ActiveSky, but there was something missing. I missed something. A ja, FSflightkeeper!!!!!!!!!!!
I completely forgot to start FSFK. My own stupid fault, I can only blame myself.............................

Anyone ever been there? The same frustration you get when after a long flight you get a CTD.

So Luc, if you see me not filing flight QFA7586 the reason is not the pilot, it is the traveling agency behind it!!!!!!!

Happy landings and ofcourse: pireps!

If you have the option, try running it through WideFS on a separate computer. I try to keep my FSX box as "clean" as possible and all the add-ons like ActiveSky, FSFK, etc I run on my laptop.

Also, I've gotten into the habit to always glance at the FSFK screen to make sure the block times are correctly recorded as I release the brakes or take off and I have caught the fact that I forgot to run FSFK more than once that way! :?

I've had similar issues, but I landed at the destination before I realized that I never started GCP.
