New computer - having problems - help

I just got a new rig - I7 prosessor - liquid coooled ect. it has vista for OS. I loaded up FSX and just purchased box of PMDG 747X. For what ever reasson i cant get the liveries from the PMDG site to load. All i have is the house models - I need Polar and Atlas. Any one have and ideas? My $3000 rig is going doen in flames

Sounds like a permissions problem at first glance. Here's a couple things to try. Take ownership of your FS directory and all subdirectories and try running the installer using the "run as" command as an administrator. If you let it install to it's default locale, program files, there's some special permissions there that complicate things. Personally I installed that and all other games to a separate folder outside of my program files x86 dir.
You might also take a look through the PMDG wiki, there's a lot of information there. You can't be the first person to have had this problem.
