Heathrow 777 Crash

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

A bit rude if he lost his job over that, they sound almost as bad as Qantas, but then they are both part of each other now.

The guy should be treated like a hero, not a leper. The CAA put no blame on him whatsoever.

Did they find out what actually happened with the engine management systems?

John

PS. As mentioned in the podcast have a look at this, especially the blog. Yup, definitely like Qantas.

I read a very short article regarding this pilot earlier today. The captain resigned, wasn't fired if that's what some are thinking. His reason was because of the image that was projected upon him by the company. Sounds like BA was playing a little dirty behind the scenes. Too bad for this guy.
