Might be a bit "Monday Morning Quarterbacking", especially since it is Monday Morning...lol

That would be a bit more than a SLIGHT miscalculation. Considering the reserve fuel requirements for a flight like that, along with Equal Time Points, fuel calculations at each waypoint, etc, the pilot of that aircraft should have known way before reaching a point too far to turn back to the mainland USA.

I wonder if that job went to the lowest bidder??? lol

As it said he was Ferrying , hope his insurance is upto date!
