Located: 56nm from the big Frankfurt Main Airport in Germany
Weather: During the winter, the weather in Frankfurt-Hahn, forces the controllers and pilots to use CAT IIIB approaches. The airfield elevation is 1549ft above MSL, which means you often will see clouds just 100ft above the ground. Atlas Air has 5 flights a week, into Hahn.
