Question on Bid Process and Email Notification

Gents,

Just a question on the bid process notification. I just happened to be on the site and noticed the bid form is open and pilots can enter their bids once it ticks down to their position. In the past--as in 2-3 years ago-- I would get an email announcing the commencement of the monthly bid process. Lately they have been sporadic--at least for me. Since I'm not sure who in management handles this I thought I would post my question here to find out if any other pilots received a email recently on the opening of the May bid. I double-checked my email address and it seems to be correct.

Just to be clear I am not griping; I'm just trying to troubleshoot to see if I need to get something fixed.

We have struggled with this email problem for a very long time where some members are getting emails and others are not. The problem was thought to be fixed when our email limit was raised through the server host but with your report it appears the problem still exists.

The email you are referring to is sent automatically and is still being sent. I received the email on schedule yesterday. Until we get the issue resolved, know that bidding window is controlled automatically to open on the 16th of every month and closes on the 20th. If those dates are ever changed there will it will be posted on the forum.

We'll have to look into this problem more and hopefully come up with a solution. An annoying question, I know, but I need to ask - have you checked your junk/spam folder?

Thanks for the great explanation. That helps a lot, especially the dates info which was something that i was not aware.
